I'd put the year at about 2024

*Updated with final revision.

Notes: So this render took 12 hours on a 16 core machine, I'd hate to have seen it render on my old workstation. The settings are incredibly high to eliminate noise in the frosted glass, though some of it still came through with the color/contrast fixes. Thanks for all your pointers on what worked and what didn't, it's been a real help in realizing the final version. It's not much, but a respectable piece for my portfolio. Cheers.

This simple and clean version looks great!

I'm glad to see such great work with c4d/VRay (and many more in your gallery) since i choose to learn it instead of 3ds max or maya. This motivates me a lot!

I would remove those big speakers and put some other that are tall, thinner, modern, elegant..like these:
