A re-worked more cartoony (and still under textured) version of Une Ville [link]

I still would like someday to fully texture the entire piece, but can't imagine how long it would take.

Created and rendered in Cinema 4D

Nice.... try to finish the rest of the texturing... also don't cel-shade. use radiosity and caustics to give the realistic feel. maybe HDRI imaging?? but u'll have to get a false-prop sky for it. Still anyways... really cool.

TiP: Integrate it into Bryce and add some scenery,... it looks quite dead.

A sure Fav+

Thanks.

Where would caustics apply in this scene? They would be invisible at such a scale.
It has GI already (Radiosity)

No bryce for me, if I revist the piece I may work inside of Vue.

It looks a bit like a WIP, but already has an incredible amount of detail in it. Good work.

Yeah, it's looks great, man, even without textures. The only parts that need texturing are the ones that face the camera and are closer to it. Everything in the distance could just have a general repeating tile texture/bump map and they'd still look great from far. Just because now it's very obvious that most things aren't textured (the light bounces off a flat, undetailled surface, instead of many small windows for the side of the buildings).

I love the cartoon look though and the water reflections look very nice in the background.

Wow.. that's amazing, you could've used a little better textures for the background buildings but that's ok

The water is really nice, especially the shore waves =D

(If you can't texture the whole piece in short time, the greatness of DOF might help. ;))
