Artist's Comments

A very far from complete concept piece i've been working on for a couple of days.

Final render will hopefully be done with Maxwell Render, to show off it's abilities.

Building in Cinema 4D.

Have a long way to go yet.

I like it alot accept from the water and the bricks on the wall to the left.
I'm looking forward to the final release :) GJ!

There's currently only 120'000 poly's, thankfully.

I'm going to use a matte technique to texture it.
Where I, choose an angle, paint it photoshop with no light features and then send it back into MAX for final lighting.

Shame you don't like the bricks, I modeled them too.
I'm kind of against using textures to fake everything, I'm hoping I can achieve some actual objects to achieve the best kind of realism in the end.

holy cow that looks just amazing! i've always wanted to know, how do you make all of this cool work, do you use nurbs or whatever, or is it just all primitive objects put together? i love playing around in c4d, but can never get anything like that.

I just dont think that they fit in. Everything on the image seems to be "futuristic" accept for the bricks.
:iconsaugetier:
that's a BIG project. i can't wait to see the final
